  • 2015-07-06 Canyon Runner Point Pleasant

Capt. Philly Dulanie back at it after his back was out of it and he sat at the dock in his recliner chair for two weeks. He's running the 60 Ritchie Howell today. Didn't take him long to show us all why he's still the best of the best I've ever seen or fished with - just wish I could turn back the clock on him and have the 50 year old Philly and not the one looking at 70 but getting old is better than the alternative. Anyway - he was back on the edge for a mere 2 hours when he went 4 for 4 on big-eyes fishing in a spot with no one around nor anyone would have thought held big-eyes.
  • 2015-07-06 Prowler Atlantic Highlands

Capt. Jimmy Rivelli worked hard today for us and it produced some good action with some nice size keepers in the mix. Bucktail Bob finally broke out of his slump with a nice 5 pounder that ended up taking the pool as well as getting another keeper and a ton of shorts.

  • 2015-07-06 Caveman Cape May

After trolling for 2 hours with no signs of life except for Mahi-Mahi we brought in our Yellowfin spread and moved to the Big Eye hole and started our quest for a Devil Tuna. The Cal Star rods can put so much pressure on a big tuna especially in low gear and this all comes from testing on the Long Range boat out of San Diego when they fight 300 lb.
