November 28, 2014 Friday report Thanksgiving Day fishing turned out to be an active black fishing day, overall it was a good day. Today, Friday the black fishing slowed down, we moved around , the togs would not cooperate today, we fished at different depths, yesterday the togs were feisty, today they had closed mouths.
A tough day with the weather and fishing - it was chilly today but the wind was much stronger than forecasted it make it a tough day to fish and the fish were not cooperative. The good news the next couple of days are suppose to be warmer and only 5 to 10 knots of wind tomorrow which should make things a lot better fishing wise.
The entire crew of the Marilyn Jean wishes a Happy Thanksgiving to all of our customers and your families. JanuaryFebruaryMarchAprilMayJuneJulyAugustSeptemberOctoberNovemberDecember201420132012Comments List all reports
The good news is we were able to pick at fish on the first 2 spots with keepers and shirts and on our 3rd drop we built up some nice life and caught fish for the rest of the day but you did have to work for them. Others had between 2, 3 4 nice keepers and for a couple it wasn't there day and only had shorts.
